On 18th December 2023, Folkestone hosted a league race for the National Schools Snowsports Association.  The race was sold out, with 20 racers from aged 5 to 16 representing their schools. Overall winners were:- in the seniors competition (U14+ Full gates) - Tom Atkins, Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys, Beatrix Bull, Highworth Grammar School for Girls, In the Juniors competition (U8 - U12 Stubbie gates), Olivier Michotte, Harvey Grammar School and Millie-Rose Hickman, Chilmington Green Secondary School

At the first LSERSA race at Chatham this weekend, we had both the youngest racer at just 4 years old and also the most senior, showing what a diverse club we are.  Our members did really well with Selina 3rd U18 Female and Richard 3rd Masters Male.

22/01/2022, History has been made.  Dave Ryding has become the first even Brit to win a world cup medal in the slalom race today in Kitzbhuel,  Dave started his skiing on a dry slope in  Pendle, Lancs.  A brilliant result and inspiration to all our trainees on what can be achieved if you work hard enough and believe, dreams can come true.  Never give up

On 24th July, Eddie the Eagle, opened the newly refurbished ski slope.  Race club were allowed to be the first on, showcasing their slalom racing.  Eddie the Eagle joined in with this and even raced some of our members in a dual slalom race.
